Game for the World is Really Going Places!

Our 501(c)3, Games for Life, was hand-selected from over 1,000 applicants to receive the British Airways Business Opportunity Grant! The grant includes:
- Ten round-trip transatlantic business class trips
- Five British Airways World Cargo freight shipments
- $1,000 toward accommodations at Courtyard by Marriott
- Five Regus Businessworld Gold Cards providing access to business lounges worldwide
- A Canon wireless office all-in-one printer
- Three qualified face-to-face meetings from ExeConnect
To win the grant, Games for Life submitted a written application, explaining how we would benefit from face-to-face meetings with organizations which have the game around the world.
We are thrilled with the opportunity that this provides! It enables us to visit organizations around the world to deliver games for which we are fund-raising. We now have the means to deliver the games and we ask your support in helping us raise the money to manufacture the games. Our goal is to raise $50,000. We would love your partnership in meeting this goal. Fundraising is now open and future blogs will provide news of our progress.
Your $25 donation will pay for one game and each time the game is played, you will make a positive impact on the lives of 6 people. The games are designed to be used over and over again, if they are used once a week, your donation will make a positive impact on the lives of 312 people. Your $200 donation will pay for eight games and each time the game is played, you will make a positive impact on the lives of 48 people and 2,496 people over one year. Any contribution you can afford will make a difference!

Fundraising Update

We’re on our way to raising $50,000 to donate 3,000 games to organizations which urgently need them around the world! We would love for you, your friends and neighbors to partner with us in making this dream come true!

Game for the World is making an impact in Mexico where:

- CENSIDA is sponsoring the manufacture of a 15 square foot version of the game which is going to be played in Tuxtla Guitierrez, Chiapas from Nov. 27 – Dec. 1, during the Mexican National AIDS conference. CENSIDA is a division of the Mexican Dept. of Health, solely devoted to HIV and AIDS.

- The City of Mexico is sponsoring the manufacture of a 15 square foot version of the game which is going to be played in Alameda, Mexico City on November 28, during a 16 day event they are staging on Violence Against Women.

- Stendhal, a Mexican drug company is sponsoring the the production of games which are going to be used in all 32 states of Mexico in early detection workshops.
